Short biography

Since 2012, I have collaborated in different lines of research with the team of the Roman and Late Antique city of Pollentia (Alcúdia, Mallorca). My training as a ceramologist includes collaboration with the Pollentia team, as well as the study of ceramic contexts in research projects at Lechaion (Corinth, Greece), Ephesus (Selçuk, Turkey) or la Isla del Fraile (Águilas, Murcia), among others. As part of my studies, I have conducted two doctoral stays at the Centre Camille Juillan (Aix-en-Provence) and at the University of Murcia. As part of the ECLOC project, I also participate in the research works at the church and village of Sidillà (Foixà, Girona), as well as at the thermal complex and church of Sant Hilari d’Abrera (Baix Llobregat, Barcelona), witnesses of the religious and occupational transformation of Late Antiquity. As a teacher during the doctoral stage, from 2018 to 2022 I taught archaeological stratigraphy within the framework of the subject Archaeological Methodology II, in the framework of the Archeology Bachelor Degree at the University of Barcelona.

Research interests

I participate in several lines of research related to Roman and Late Antique archaeology. Some of the fields in which my research focuses are the economic and commercial dynamics in the late Roman period based mainly on the ceramological study, archeology of architecture and archaeological stratigraphy. My doctoral thesis, currently in progress, focuses on the study of the economic and urban dynamics of the Western Mediterranean during the 3rd century AD, based on the study of the ceramic contexts and the material culture of the Roman city of Pollentia (Alcudia, Mallorca).
